Adeleke mourns as Osun PDP chieftain dies in auto crash
…calls for Special Prayers

The governorship candidate of People’s Democratic Party in the last election in Osun, Sen. Ademola Adeleke on Thursday commiserated with the family of Hon. Edward Keshinro who died in a ghastly motor accident on Monday along Erin-Jesa on his way to his family members.
Sen. Adeleke, in a statement he personally signed and made available to journalists in Osogbo expressed sadness on various deaths recorded among his party members in recent times, calling on all the party faithful to embark on special prayers.
“It is with heavy heart and sadness that I received the news of several sad incidents and deaths within Osun state PDP in the last two weeks. The sudden unfortunate exit of our party chieftains from Oriade and Boluwaduro local governments is a terrible developments at a time the party is just recovering from recent challenges.
“I emphatise and condole with the families of the deceased and pray Almighy God to grant them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss. This is one death too many in Osun PDP family,” he said.
The former Osun West Senator also condoled the chairman of the party in the State, Hon. Soji Adagunodo, urging him to convey urgent prayers among all members of the party to seek God’s intervention on the unfortunate incidents within the party.
Adeleke said, “My condolence also goes to the State Chairman of the party, Hon Soji Adagunodo and the entire leadership of the party at the state and local levels.
“It is time to convey urgent prayer at the state secretariat of our party. We must seek the face of God to halt untimely death within the party.
“I wept profusely these days; great minds exited so sadly. I pray our Lord to console the families, the party and all PDP members. We pray for divine protection and support.”
