Drug dealers, consumers won’t rest in Kebbi, NDLEA vows

Kebbi State command of National Drugs Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has said its sustained crackdown on drugs dealers and consumers succeeded in forcing down the percentage of drug use and its sales in the state.

The assurance was given by the state commander at his office complex in birnin kebbi in an interactive with news men,he maintained that his command will remain resolute to its national duties of combating drug usage and its sales despite challenges of logistics and pressure.

Sulaiman jadi added that his success was a team work from the intelligence unit of his command,who noticed increase in theft since after polls,which means youth resorted to stealing to maintain drug habit but his command blocked access to unothourised drugs and nabbed hard drug dealers in the state.

Commander jadi said members of the community are stake holders in the fight against drugs use and its sale,”I want to use this rare opportunity to thank our traditional rulers members of the academia, parents ,drug clubs in the state for assisting the command he said.
