Equatorial Guinea Announces Winners of Oil Blocs
Ministry Mines and Hydrocarbons has announced the award of nine Oil & Gas blocs and 15 Mining blocks to selected companies that participated in the Petroleum Bid and the first Mining Bid
The ministry had at the close of the bidding round announced that the ‘ronda’ received 21 offers over a spectrum of 27 blocks.
Perceptum Limited hosted 58 days of Data-Room on behalf of the Ministry of Mines & Hydrocarbons of Equatorial Guinea.
The Ministry of Mines and Hydrocarbons (MMH) of Equatorial Guinea had invited all Exploration and Production Oil & Gas Companies worldwide to participate in the 2019 Oil and Gas Licensing Round of Equatorial Guinea.
“We want to welcome all investors from the oil industry to join us in developing our vast resources for the benefit of our country, and our international partners, in an environment of clear and stable legislation, fantastic incentives for the companies and extraordinary untapped potential of our benevolent geology”, Gabriel Obiang Lima, Minister of Mines and Hydrocarbons of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea had said.
The 2019 Oil and Gas Licensing Round offered twenty six (27) blocks. Twenty five (25) for Exploration and two (2) for Appraisal/Development of hydrocarbons under production sharing contracts.
