Adeleke celebrates Akogun Oyewumi at 60
Senator Nurudeen Ademola Adeleke on Sunday passed a cheering tribute to a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Chieftain, Akogun Dr Lere Oyewumi who clocked 60 years, saying the politician is a true example of dedication to the good of mankind.
Adeleke who described Dr Oyewumi as a unique agent in the liberation of the oppressed, noted that his birthday “remind us all of the incredible gift that nature bestowed on mankind” and a sincere politician who has contributed immensely to Osun state and Nigeria as a whole.
He lauded the politician for remaining true to his avowed commitment to a better Osun state in the face of obvious frustration from oppressed forces, adding that he (Dr Oyewumi) deserves the celebration of all and sundry for his sustained contributions to our society.
“As you know so well, I so much value your enormous contributions to our great party, PDP and strong resolve for the cause of our people, hence, it is my honour to celebrate you on your 60th birthday and wish you many more impactful years on Earth,” Senator Adeleke said.
“On behalf of my family, party loyalists and lovers of Osun’s progress, I warmly celebrate you today and pray for many celebrations in your life with good health and divine strength….Amen”
