No Borno LG is under Boko Haram
Theatre Commander of Operation Lafiya Dole, Maj-Gen. Olusegun Adeniyi,
has said that no Borno council area; is under the control of Boko
Haram insurgents since 2017.
Adeniyi made the declaration Friday, while briefing journalists on the
ongoing counter-insurgency operations at the Theatre Command Centre,

enabled troops to succeed in the fight against the insurgents.
