Alleged #Buhari Attacker Speaks out
Muhammed Gundare,the man widely reported to have attempted an attack on President Muhammadu Buhari at kebbi on Thursday has denied nursing any bad intention,explaining that he was only hoping to handshake Mr President as a sign of love.
In a video clip in the presence of journalists,Gundare said he was emotionally overwhelmed by his love for the president ,leading to what he called his action yesterday.
Describing himself as die hard Buhari loyalist,he noted that he had hoped for an handshake and a hug with Mr President whom he said has remained incorruptible since he assumed the presidency in 2015.
Flanked by kebbi state governor ,Bagudu Atiku and Information Minister ,Lai Mohammed ,he narrated that the security agencies did not not maltreat him and that he was not tortured as speculated .
“I am alive. I am not dead. Yesterday was a big day for me. I have good intention .My emotional love for President overcome my sense of reasoning “,Gundare said.
