#EndSars: Peace Returns to Apo As Military Takes Charge of Major Routes

It can be recalled that things went ugly in the area on Monday when some #EndSars protesters where said to have blocked the road around Kabusa junction to Apo Mechanic Village and this action irriated some okada riders as the #EndSars protesters hindered them from conducting their business.

This Resulted to altercations between the riders and the protesters and this led loss of lives, burning cars and properties in the environment.

This incident had a spiral effect on surrounding communities in Gudu, Wumba, and Lokogoma leading to loss of lives and properties and many injured.

There have been rumors of retaliatory action everywhere as it was said that some group of youths were ready to make move on another perceived opposing group, which made Friday very tensed as businesses closed and movement was restricted.

This led to the heavy to the presence of military and other sister agencies which has helped calmed the tension In this area.
