National Youth Day: Better days Ahead As Senator Oriolowo Facilitates National Library In Osun-West

In commemoration of the National Youth Day, the senator representing Osun West Senatorial District, Adelere Oriolowo has announced that  he has facilitated the siting of National Library at his Senatorial district of Osun West.

The senator who noted that, although not only the youth population will be the beneficiary of the establishment, said the establishment of the Library would give citizens of State the opportunity to explore on research, experience new ideas, get lost in wonderful stories, while at the same time providing a sense of place for gathering.

He stated that government officials in charge of the establishment will be visiting the state to inspect the proposed site for this new establishment.

“No matter what might have happen in recent time, our resolve to continue to serve our people diligently remains unshaken, as this is one of out of many developmental progresses that is in the offing for the Senatorial district and the state at large” he said.

He also stressed that the project will be beneficial to the youths and also help to bridge the illiteracy gap in the society there by allowing the youths to achieve their full potentials.

A statement from the Senator’s Media officer said Senator Adelere Oriolowo, is known and seen to be engaged in “developmental politics rather than the political Propagandas that has characterized our polity in this part of the world”.

With Impact of Covid-19 and the unfortunate hijacking of the #EndSars Protest that led to looting and destruction of properties, the Senator said this events will not deter him from giving his constituency quality representation.

The statement also said that the Library project is one of the many constituency projects that Senator Adelere Oriolowo has brought to his constituency. Others include the reconstruction of the Iwo-Ejigbo road, the dredging of the dreaded waterways of Ojudo Community in Aiyedaade local government. The siting of boreholes in different communities to address the lack of drinkable water.

The statement further said that he has facilitated many job placement for residents and citizens of his state and constituency into government agencies.
