#EndSARS: Lagos State To Relax Curfew From Saturday
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has announced the relaxation of the 24 hour curfew imposed on Lagos State with effect from Saturday, October 24, 2020.
The Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Gboyega Akosile stated this in a tweet via his Twitter handle @gboyegaakosile stating that the curfew which was initially for 24hours had been relaxed to begin from 6pm to 8am.
The State Government had on Tuesday imposed a 24hours curfew on the State following the violence that trailed the #EndSARS protests in some parts of the State.
Governor Sanwo-Olu had earlier stated that in a briefing on Thursday that he would relax the curfew to allow Lagosians get food to eat and put their businesses in order.
