Ejigbo Community Celebrates Omo-Oba Okemakinde Bukola At 64th Song Service

It was a moment of celebration and jubilation OK Sunday, as Omooba Okemakinde Bukola, CEO/MD of Okemakinde & Son Limited, was celebrated and decorated with a prestigious award during the 64th Songs Service at First Baptist Church, Ola, Ejigbo Local Government. The event brought together dignitaries, community leaders, and well-wishers who gathered to honour his contributions to faith, service, and community development.

In attendance were eminent personalities including the Olu-omo of Ejigbo land and Former Speaker, OSHA, Rt. Hon. Najeem Salam; the Honourable Member representing Ejigbo State Constituency, Hon. Olujimi Asagade (ably represented by his PA); SSAs to Governor Ademola Adeleke — Hon. Mustapha Adisa Akintegbe (Builder Tegbe) and Hon. Albert Afọlábí — alongside several other political and business associates. Their presence underscored the significance of the occasion and the high regard in which Omooba Bukola is held.

Omooba Bukola’s journey of impact began in the church, where he served as an active member of the Royal Ambassadors and faithfully lent his voice to the church choir at Ola First Baptist Church. His commitment to service has since extended beyond the church walls, establishing him as a respected community leader and activist.

Deeply involved in youth and community development, he currently serves as Vice Chairman of the Ejigbo Youth Intellectual Movement and has been a proud member of Ejigbo E11. His leadership track record includes serving as PRO of the Federation of Ola Students Union in 2004 and later as Assistant General Secretary of ELGASA in 2005.

The award stands as a testament to his tireless dedication, resilience, and positive influence on the church and community at large. Congratulations to Comrade Omooba Okemakinde Bukola on this well-deserved honour.
