Gov Adeleke Condoles Osun NUJ Correspondents Chapel Chair, Shina Abubakar, Over The Passing Of His Father, Sheik Musa Olohunlogaju Abubakar

The Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke has commiserated with the Chairman of the Osun State Correspondents Chapel, Mr. Shina Abubakar, over the passing of his beloved father, Sheikh Musa Olohunlogaju Abubakar.

The Governor who also consoles family of the prominent Islamic cleric, described Sheikh Abubakar as a preacher who used his teachings to guide many to the path of Allah and contributed to the harmony of the society through healthy engagements.

Governor Adeleke who visited the family of the deceased in Osogbo through a delegation led by his Spokesperson, Mallam Olawale Rasheed, extolled the virtues of the renowned Islamic scholar, highlighting his pronounced contributions to deepening Islamic faith through his teachings and conducts.

Mallam Rasheed who conveyed the Governor’s heartfelt sympathy to Me. Shina Abubakar and the entire family, urged everyone touched by the passing of the late cleric to sustain his legacy of strengthening faiths and building communities.

“It is with a heavy heart that I commiserate with the Chairman of the Osun State Correspondents Chapel, Mr. Shina Abubakar, over the passing of his beloved father, Sheikh Musa Olohunlogaju Abubakar. Sheikh Abubakar enriched lives and shaped destinies through his teachings,” Governor Adeleke was quoted as saying in his condolences message.

“As a government, we join everyone impacted by this painful loss, particularly the immediate family and the Muslim community, in mourning Sheikh Abubakar. Sheikh Abubakar did not only inspired a great generation of scholars and thinkers but also engender religious harmony.”

Governor Adeleke prays for the repose of the soul of the deceased and hoped that those left behind, especially family members, students and mentees can find solace and strength in the memories of his remarkable life and the knowledge that his legacy will endure generations.

“May Allah grant Sheikh Musa Olohunlogaju Abubakar eternal rest in aljanah fridaos.”
