The Honourable Commissioner for Lands and Physical Planning, Hon. George Ibitayo Alabi, an Ejigbo-born grassroots politician, on Christmas Day played host to community residents, traditional leaders, and party stakeholders at his residence in Ejigbo, Osun State.
The well-attended Christmas gathering attracted people from different walks of life, reflecting the strong bond between the Commissioner and the grassroots. It served as a platform for fellowship, goodwill,and the strengthening of communal ties.
Speaking at the event, Hon. Alabi described Christmas as a season of love, sacrifice,and unity, urging residents to continue to live in peace and support one another. He reaffirmed his commitment, as an Ejigbo-born grassroots politician, to people-centred leadership and sustained engagement with his constituents.
He expressed appreciation to community leaders,residents, and party stakeholders for their unwavering support,prayers and cooperation, noting that inclusive participation remains key to effective governance and sustainable development.
Participants commended Hon. Alabi for his humility, accessibility and grassroots connection, while offering prayers for divine guidance and greater achievements in his service to Ejigbo, Osun State and humanity at large.
