
Adeleke Congratulates Oyebanji on Re-Election as Ekiti Governor

Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, has congratulated Ekiti State Governor, Abiodun Oyebanji, on his victory in the just concluded governorship election in the state.
Adeleke described Oyebanji’s re-election as a reflection of the confidence the people of Ekiti have in his leadership and an endorsement of the achievements recorded during his first term in office.
In a statement issued on Sunday by his spokesperson, Mallam Olawale Rasheed, the Osun governor said the outcome of the election demonstrated the widespread acceptance of Oyebanji’s administration and its developmental agenda.
“My congratulations to Governor Abiodun Oyebanji on his decisive victory in the recently concluded governorship election in Ekiti State. The victory is a mark of acceptance of his leadership and confidence in him to deliver more progress for the state,” Adeleke said.
He noted that the renewed mandate would provide the Ekiti governor with the opportunity to consolidate on the gains of his first term and further advance the state’s development.
“On behalf of the Government and the good people of Osun State, I rejoice with my brother governor and share the optimism of the people of Ekiti that his next term will be a continuation of the impactful services that marked his first tenure,” he added.
Adeleke also wished Oyebanji a successful second term in office, praying for God’s guidance, wisdom and strength as he continues to provide leadership and deliver good governance to the people of Ekiti State.
The Osun governor expressed confidence that the Ekiti governor’s administration would sustain its developmental strides and continue to improve the welfare of the people.
