“A new Commissioner of Police, CP Peter O. Abayomi has been posted to Osun State Command for election duty and has resumed office today 22nd February, 2023 in fulfillment of the resolve of the IGP Alkali Baba Usman to enable the conduct of smooth, free, fair, credible and violence-free 2023 General elections.
According to a communique signed by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Opalola Yemisi, noted that, “The Commissioner of Police for Election Duty in the State is using this medium to officially invite all the registered Political Party leaders, Aspirants/Contestants (Senate, House of Representative and State House of Assembly) to a crucial and strategic stakeholders meeting.
