The PUNCH reports that an unspecified number of travellers were abducted at Ayepe Area, a community located along Osogbo/Ikirun road in the early hours of Friday.

Opalola also said rescue operation had commenced to free other abductees.
A top security source, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said the victim was rescued by the police team that went after the abductors.
The source further said the gunmen abandoned the victim after police team engaged them in exchange of gunshots in a forest at the centre of Osogbo, Iragbiji and Ibokun towns, where she was held.
