The President of Osun Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (OSUCCIMA), Dr Olu Olujide congratulates the governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Jackson Adeleke on his victory at the Supreme Court on Tuesday 9th of May 2023.
According to a congratulatory message signed by OSUCCIMA Public Relation Officer, Olatunde Farotimi stated that the verdict of the Supreme Court being the apex Court on such election matters revealed the verdict of the people of Osun and the triumphant entry of true democracy in the state.
He also added that It was indeed the hands of God on the people of Osun State.
“We want to sincerely appreciate God for what he has done for us in the state and for our governor,’ he said.
In his message, the President congratulates the members of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for the recorded victory in the Osun gubernatorial election. Moreover, he appeals to all those who pained through the electioneering processes to embrace the hands of peace and be ready to work with the duly elected governor of the state, Ademola Adeleke.
He charges the Governor to be more committed to the people of Osun who have through their votes declared him the winner of their mandate to rule their affairs.
In his words, ‘there are many projects to be embarked upon in the state. The various businesses in the state must witness a positive turnaround in their activities. They should be able to engage the cooperation of the government and private organizations in and out of the state to establish a better economic environment.’
Dr Olujide encourages the governor to be open to all and be ready to work with the people of the state. He said the Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (OSUCCIMA) in Osun is ready to work with the new government to bring about sustainable growth in the economy of the state by working together with all sectors of the state’s economy.
He said, ‘we want businesses in Osun to have both national and international patronage. We should produce products and services that can compete internationally with other products of the country. The new administration should engage the youth by providing meaningful opportunities.’
He prays that the Almighty God who has laid it in the mind of the people of Osun state to vote for him; and gave him victory in his rough road to victory, will continue to be with Senator Ademola Adeleke and grant him the power to drive all his positive visions to reality in Osun state.
