United States actor, Danny Masterson, was found guilty of raping two women by a Los Angeles judge and was promptly denied bail and escorted to the cells on two of three counts of rape.
All three women who accused Masterson said that they waited so long to expose him to police because they were afraid of retaliation from the Church of Scientology, according to Daily Mail on Wednesday.
They have also sued the actor and the Church of Scientology in civil court, alleging harassment and intimidation since reporting him to the police.
In 2022, Masterson was tried on the same allegations, but the case collapsed when the case became undecided.
The judge ordered Masterson to be taken into custody and set an August 4 hearing for his counsel.
