One of the most strategic Position for the success of any President in a Presidential System or Government, is Office of the National Security Adviser.NSA.
The importance of this position, cannot be over emphasized.
The current and emerging global security trends, which domestication has aggravated the security challenges in our Country, called for serious concern from patriotic citizens. And is gradually becoming clearer by the experiences of the past years, that what is required is more than military kinetics but other non kinetic, soft power practical approach, which coordination should not only be a military Individual but a function of combination of highly skilled, multi dimensional, sophisticated, and advance technologically sound mind or Personality capable of driving and coordinating defence, Intelligence, counter insurgency/ Terrorism, foreign affairs, international economic and trade policy, and Strategy.
The Person to be so appointed as NSA should be someone with the practical consciousness that, national security extends beyond military security but embodiment of Diplomacy, foreign affairs, international trade and economic policy, Conflict Resolution, Crisis management, Negotiations and increasingly technological policy implementation.
The ultimate goal of all these functions is for the creation, enhancement and sustainability of Peace in our Land.
