Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke was on Tuesday, installed as the Grand Patron of the Osun State Chamber of Commerce of Industry, Mines and Agriculture (OSUCCIMA).
This is even as OSSUCCIMA held an investiture for its new Chairman, Dr Olu Olujide at SOB Event Centre, Osogbo, Osun State Capital.
Announcing Governor Adeleke as the Grand Patron, Olujide noted that it is statutorily stated in the Chambers of Commerce Constitution for the Governor of each state to be the Grand Patron of the Chamber.
He added that Governor Ademola Adeleke had in his few months in office proven beyond reasonable doubt that is in office to serve the people of Osun state.
While responding,Governor Adeleke who was represented by the Commissioner for Co-operatives and Empowerment, Hon. Bayo Ogungbangbe, expressed commitment to a working relationship with the Chamber of Commerce in the state adding that his administration is committed to implementing people oriented policies.
He stated further that the state government is a partner in progress with the Osun Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture and as such the chamber should be assured of the government support where necessary.
