To the excitement of Osun State residents, the administration of Senator Ademola Adeleke has commenced the dualisation of the Old Garage/Okefia/LAMECO Junction road.
Speaking on Monday while supervising the commencement of the project, the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Works, Engr. Bashir Bello commended the
Governor Adeleke for approving the project which he said will definitely change the economic sector of the State capital, Osogbo.
Engr. Bello, however, appealed to residents of Osogbo, especially those around Old Garage/Okefia axis and motorists to exercise patience in bearing the inconveniences that the construction work will cause.
He said the contractors handling the job will work assiduously to ensure that they deliver in good time and with the required standard.

Residents of the area who were visibly excited at the commencement of the project said the intervention has been long over due because of the traffic congestion which usually occur in the area as well as flood during rainy season.
They commended the administration of Senator Ademola Adeleke for being a promise keeper and for its determination to grow the State through infrastructural developments.
