Actress and comedian Wofai Fada has marked her 34th birthday amid controversy surrounding her recent engagement to her husband, Taiwo Cole.
Fada took to her Instagram, where she posted pictures of herself celebrating her birthday on Saturday.
She wrote, “This particular month is so special to me because it emphasises the essentials of a happy life, laughter, love, and adventure.”THIS IS 34👅.
“Happy birthday, Ekpe! Yatata!”.
Recall Vanguard reported that the couple’s traditional wedding, held in Cross River State, stirred reactions after Cole’s family denounced the engagement in a viral disclaimer.
In the statement issued by the family patriarch, Kunle Cole, the family dissociated themselves from the union, saying they were unaware of the marriage plans and did not grant consent or support.
There were some speculations on social media concerning her age, with the narrative that her in-laws revealed she was 38 years old and older than their 30-year-old son.
