Following the conferment of the award of Governor of the Year (Infrastructure) on Governor Ademola Adeleke by Vanguard Media Ltd, observers have started heaping praise on Governor Ademola Adeleke for his giant strides in the infrastructural development of Osun state since the inception of his administration.
Appearing on a popular radio program ‘Politics Naija’ With Mogaji Olalekan Efficient, on Tungba 100.9 FM, Ikorodu, Lagos state on Saturday, the Senior Special Assistant to Governor Adeleke on Media, Hon. Oladele Bamiji, to shed more light on various developmental projects embarked upon by the current administration, callers and commentators commended the Governor for his commitment to revamp the infrastructural outlook of the state of the living spring.
Oladele Bamiji who recounted the progress currently being experienced in road construction, qualitative healthcare delivery through the various medical outreaches and the ongoing rehabilitation of primary health centers (PHC) across each political wards in Osun, rehabilitation of schools and provision of clean water among others, disclosed that the award by Vanguard Newspaper was a recognition that came solely on merit as the organizer (Vanguard Media Ltd.) independently assessed every state Governor on each performance index set by the media outfit.
The two hours long program which could still be accessed via the Facebook page of Tungba 100.9 FM featured the caller’s segment that allows audience at home to contribute to the discussion. Several callers from Lagos, Ondo, Ekiti, Oyo and all the way from Osun states praised Governor Adeleke for his performance so far in office in the infrastructure sector.
A male caller from Asubiaro, Osogbo confirmed that all the projects mentioned by Hon. Oladele are indeed true, while praising Governor Adeleke for his commitment to transforming Osun state. Another caller from Ikorodu who identified as an indigene of Osun affirmed that this is the first time since the era of Governor Oyinlola that a Governor of the state is delivering quality infrastructure without jeopardizing the welfare of the citizens.
Another male caller from Osogbo praised Governor Adeleke for continuing the east by-pass road abandoned by the past administration and several other infrastructure projects inherited from the past administration.
Several other callers testified to the transformation of Osun in the infrastructure sector since the inception of Governor Adeleke’s administration while affirming their support as he continued to fulfil his electoral promises.
