The ongoing nationwide hunger protest in Nigeria took a dramatic turn on Monday as some demonstrators in Osun State stripped naked to emphasise their demands
As usual, the demonstrators gathered at Freedom Park and marched through the city, chanting that they would not stop until President Bola Tinubu intervened to lessen Nigerians’ suffering.
On Monday morning, the demonstrators in Osun resumed their regular gathering spot, marking the fifth day of the protest.
After leaving Freedom Park to protest in Ajegunle, Olonkoro, Igbona, and Ayetoro, the demonstrators went back to Olaiya Intersession, where their leaders gave speeches.
As some of the demonstrators were bemoaning their disappointment with President Bola Tinubu, there was a small drama unfolding.
The demonstrators declared that they would not give up until the President took decisive action to lessen suffering in Nigeria.
