A commercial motorcyclist, Jacob Damilare, has been arrested by the Osun State Police Command for having unlawful carnal knowledge of a female passenger, who engaged his services on the campus of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife.
The victim, whose name was not disclosed, while going to Moro, reportedly engaged the services of Damilare from the OAU campus around 7:05 on July 26.
However, on getting to the RCC Junction along the Ilesa-Ibadan Expressway, in Ile-Ife, the motorcyclist, allegedly diverted to the bush, robbed the passenger of her belongings, raped and shaved her pubic hair.
Responding to the questions from Journalists, Damilare admitted committing the offence, adding that the victim, a student of OAU, spoke arrogantly to him when he made love advances to her during the journey.
