Governor Mallam Umar Namadi has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to addressing the challenges faced by the youth in Jigawa State.
Speaking at the All Progressive Congress (APC) flag-off campaign rally for the forthcoming local government elections in Hadejia, Governor Namadi highlighted a series of initiatives aimed at empowering young people and providing them with the tools they need for growth and success.
Governor Namadi emphasized the importance of the youth in the state’s development and outlined various programs his government has implemented to support them, including job training programs, expanded access to education, support for entrepreneurship, and active youth engagement in agriculture. He said that his administration is aware of the challenges facing young people, from unemployment to lack of opportunities, and is taking steps to address these issues.
“As we have promised in our electioneering campaign, we are fully aware of the challenges that our youth face, and we are working tirelessly to address them. We will continue to listen to your concerns, double our efforts, and work hand in hand with you to create a better future for all,” Governor Namadi assured the youth.
The governor also emphasized the critical role of agriculture in providing employment opportunities for young people in the state.
“With our renewed focus on agriculture, we are confident that it will become a reliable source of employment for the youth in Jigawa,” he said.
He prayed for peaceful conduct in the upcoming local government elections and urged the people of Jigawa to rally around the party and its candidates to ensure the successful implementation of his administration’s people-oriented programs.
Also speaking at the event, the state’s Commissioner for Local Governments, Alhmed Garba MK, reiterated the APC’s dedication to Jigawa’s development, calling on the electorate to support the party’s candidates for continued social and economic advancement.
