A video shared on Instagram captured the brothers spending time together at Kunle’s film village in Komu, Oyo State, during their mother’s burial rites. Their interactions, along with social media tags, left fans thrilled about their reunion.

Speaking at their mother’s wake-keep, Kunle Afolayan revealed that he sees himself as more than just a brother to Aremu; he considers himself a father figure, as he raised him for 10 years. He also blamed women for causing divisions between them.

Kunle said, “I am not his brother; I’m his father. I raised him for 10 years. You ladies are the ones who spoiled his mind and drove him away from me.”
