Oriade/Obokun federal constituency reiterates solidarity support towards Adeleke, PDP in Osun State

In a bid to settle the political conflicts that arose among the leadership of the Oriade/Obokun federal constituency, the good people of the two local governments matched en masse to the state party secretariat in Osogbo this morning to reaffirm their unalloyed support for both the government of Sen. Ademola Adeleke and the supremacy of the Peoples Democratic Party led by Hon Sunday Bisi

According to Prince Diran Odeyemi, the chairman of governing board, Osun State College of Technology, Esa-Oke, Hon Mayowa Adejoorin, Commissioner for Environment and Sanitation, Hon Bayo Ogungbangbe, Commissioner for Cooperative and Empowerment, Hon Adewumi Adeyemi Irekandu, the lawmaker representing Obokun state constituency and many others, expressed their unreserved appreciation to the governor and the party for uncommon favour enjoyed through diverse political appointments and other opportunities zoned to the federal constituency and other life impacting projects the government has executed in just two years in office.

They added that they were not in support of anyone or any action that tends to denigrate or shatter the efforts of the current administration in Obokun/Oriade constituency, stating that the government of Sen Ademola Adeleke has constructed many roads, rehabilitated and upgraded many healthcare facilities and built a lot of schools while many developmental projects are already in the next year budget for the benefits of the people

The state chairman Hon. Sunday Bisi urged the people to manage any disputes with maturity, describing the matter as part of politics which should be expected in any democratic society, urging Hon Wole Oke to allow peace in addressing any grievance while he appealed to all leaders to stop taking the party’s internal affairs to public space.

He further reiterated that he is not a chairman who has pleasure in losing any member of the PDP to the opposition party, lauding Hon Wole Oke for the role he played when the party was not in power. He however charged him to stop taking the party’s affairs to social media.

Hon Bisi further noted that Hon Wole Oke has unlimited access to the Governor and anyone in the corridors of power, where all issues could be addressed in line with the goals and objectives of the party.

He added that no candidate of the party should be expecting an automatic ticket except that of Governor Ademola Adeleke who had been endorsed unanimously by all organs of the party as well as the civil servants in the state, reiterating that all candidates would be subjected to primary elections as applicable to the guidelines of the party.
