Today a familiarisation tour of Olojudo of Ido Osun,HRM Oba Olayinka Oyetunde Ishola Jokotola11,Ilufemiloye 1 paid a royal visit to the palace of Ataoja of Osogbo HRM Oba Jimoh Olanipekun Laroye 11.
In the entourage of Olojudo of Ido Osun are Chiefs of Alayemore Kingdom led by High Chief Basiru Oyewale Eesa of Ido Osun Kingdom and representatives of the Mogajis led by mogaji agba Prince Oduoye Jokotola, other Mogajis and family members.
Ataoja of Osogbo and all his Chiefs welcomed Kabiyesi HRM Oba Olayinka Oyetunde Ishola Jokotola 11 to his palace as both sue for Peace within their communities and its environs.
The Olojudo of Ido Osun Oba Olayinka Oyetunde Ishola Jokotola 11 said our unity is non negotiable and this is the best time that such irreplaceable virtue is needed . We must speak with one voice at all times as we prevent politics, religion or other biases from setting us apart.
“In whatever we do, we must be conscious of the fact that we are being watched by others and we cannot afford to let the world down, especially those looking up on us for leadership.” Olojudo said .
Ataoja of Osogbo also declared that descendants of Oduduwa must unite across the world regardless of religious and political differences,He described the Yorubas as natural leaders who are being watched by other nationalities for direction at all times.
Ataoja of Osogbo also urged olojudo of Ido Osun to be magnanimous in victory and to always work for the peace, development, and growth of the Ido Osun Kingdom.
Notable dignitaries present at the Palace are Asiwaju of Osogbo land who is also the Hon. Commissioner for Boundary Settlement and Chairman,Osun state Border commission, Justice Moshood Adekunle Adeigbe Rtd.The Asiwaju Musulumi of Osogbo land and Special Adviser to Osun State Governor on political matters Alhaji Muniru Adebayo Raji, Hon. Commissioner for Budget and Economic planning in Osun State ,Prof Moroof Ademola adeleke,Chiefs and Molebis of Osogbo Oroki.
