NAWORG Partners NEPZA On Trade, Export Activities

NACCIMA Business Women Group (NAWORG) has called on the Nigeria Export Processing Zones Authority (NEPZA) for a collaboration on viability of settlement of export processing zones to cater for women owned Businesses in the country.
The National chairperson NARWOG, Hajiya Aisha Abubakar lauded the Managing Director, NEPZA, Professor Adesoji Adesugba while commencing his efforts and drive in carrying the mandates of NEPZA adding that with his management team, the MD has been impactful in ensuring NEPZA carries out its mandate in every area of its operation.
She said, the recent dispute resolution provided by the organization to end the rift, between the Lagos onshore logistics and heavy industries which, will attract 7billion dollar direct investment as well as provide 3000 jobs for our youths adding that this is evidence of his inspirational leadership and indeed mighty feet.
The Chairperson also gave voice to the mandate the organization which was established with a mandate of coordinating activities of women within the chamber movements across the country.
She stressed that women owned businesses need a lot of patience and tolerance, “the most critical, is an enabling environment because we see this as an opportunity to help, if not export but something similar. To get more awareness on what is required to export, learn the logistics and be able to go through the regulations and licenses that are required for exporters.
Hajia Abubakar further expressed that this is a foundation for collaboration given the close relationship between NACCIMA and NEPZA adding that it is a huge opportunity to grow the economy and we look forward to practical implementation of this ideas from both designations.
Prof. Adesugba expressed gratitude and happiness to receive the chairperson NARWOG and her team while commending their efforts and promised that both bodies would collaborate for fruitful engagement.
