BREAKING NEWS: PDP NWC Appoints Sunday Bisi as Osun PDP Acting Chairman, Approved Osun Congresses Held under Secondus

In response to recent development in Osun state Peoples Democratic Party, the National Working Committee of the party has officially appointed Mr Sunday Bisi as the Acting Chairman of Osun State PDP.

The letter sighted by Sahel Standard showed that the letter of appointment was issued on February 16th and signed by the party’s National Organising Secretary.

The NWC Wednesday meeting also approved all decisions of the previous NWC on Osun congresses. This validated and authenticated the present local and ward executives of the party in Osun.

Report indicated that the party took the decision after rejecting the letter brought by an Osun Chieftain of the party proposing one Wale Ojo as the Acting Chairman.

In the same vein , the party’s NWC at its Wednesday meeting ratified all the decisions of the previous NWC on Osun PDP which specifically include the validation and approval of all the congresses held under the Secondus NWC.

The decision thus gave legal and official backing to the wards and local government executive of the party whose election took place under the previous NWC.
