The ruling People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Osun State, has commended the people of the State for the immense support the party received throughout the outgone year 2023, eulogizing them especially for returning the party as not just victors in the general elections conducted in the course of the year but also affirming the ruling PDP as the truly dominant political force in the electoral demography across the nooks and crannies of the state.
According to a statement issued by the PDP state chairman, Hon. Sunday Bisi reads
“As we bid farewell to 2023 and welcome the promising year of 2024, the Osun State chapter of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) extends warm greetings and heartfelt gratitude to the resilient and wonderful people of Osun State.”
“The PDP in a new year message released by the media office of the party on Monday and signed by the state chairman, Hon Sunday Bisi, relished the significance of the impenetrable resolve of the people in support of the PDP which has now shaped the state from the abyss of insolvency into an endearing society amongst comity of constituent states of the federation.
“Today, We can look back with pride and appreciation for the unwavering support and trust you invested in us during the general elections. Your overwhelming mandate gave the PDP a resounding victory, securing all 12 National Assembly seats and 25 House of Assembly seats. This resolute show of confidence in our party, even in a modern-day democracy, remains a stamp to the deep-seated faith you have in our vision for a better Osun State.”
