In fulfillment of his unwavering commitment to the safety and well-being of Osun citizens, His Excellency, Asiwaju Senator Dr. Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, has once again demonstrated responsive leadership with the official delivery of a brand-new Fire Tender Truck to the Ilesa Fire Service Station.
The initiative, facilitated through the Osun State Ministry of Internal Affairs, marks a significant step in addressing long-standing concerns about fire emergencies in Ijesaland. The modern fire truck was received in a symbolic ceremony by notable leaders including the Chairman of Osun SUBEB, Hon. Fadipe Ibukun Ishola (IBK); the Executive Chairman of Ilesa West LG, Hon. Oladiti Tumi Adebanjo; and Hon. Wahab Arewa, immediate past Caretaker Chairman of Ilesa West Central LCDA, alongside PDP faithful and members of the community.
The jubilant atmosphere reflected the deep gratitude of the people of Ilesa, who hailed Governor Adeleke for turning a long-awaited dream into reality. For years, the metropolis has suffered devastating fire outbreaks that claimed lives and destroyed properties worth billions of naira. This new fire tender truck is set to significantly boost emergency response capacity across Ijesaland.
In his address, Hon. Fadipe IBK, a proud son of Ijesaland and a key advocate for community development, lauded Governor Adeleke for his love, care, and strategic investments in the security infrastructure of the state.
“This gesture is not just about a fire truck,” Hon. Fadipe stated, “It is a symbol of a Governor who listens, cares, and acts. This delivery will go a long way in ending the painful legacy of fire disasters in Ijesaland.”
He further called on the people of Ijesaland to remain steadfast in their support for Governor Adeleke and to prepare to reward this performance with their votes in the 2026 governorship election, assuring that the Imole (light) of Osun will continue to shine far beyond 2030.
