The Governor of Ebonyi State, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, has inspected and received the second batch consignment of medical equipments procured by the State Government for all general hospitals in the State.
In a statement signed by Leo Ekene Oketa, Special Assistant to the Governor(New Media) stated that; The consignment arrived the State in a 6 40ft truck, has a total of 4518 items which includes five-function beds, two-function beds, ABS head board, ABS foot board, hospital mattresses, hospital pillows and drip stands – in various quantities.
Recall that the first batch consignment came into the State on March 10, 2024, in a 5 40ft truck and was received by the State Commissioner for health, for all the general hospitals in this State.
“Governor Nwifuru who was clearly impressed with the quality of the equipments, thanked the contractor for delivering the supplies. In his words, he said, “I am very delighted to see our plans for our people come to reality. With all we want to do in the health sector, our general hospitals will remain effective and Ebonyi State will be a reference place for medical services.”
“The Governor was in the company of the Honourable Commissioners for Health, Works and that of Infrastructural Development for Concession.”
