The Osun state Chambers of commerce, industry, mines and agriculture has encouraged the governor of Osun state, Senator Ademola Adeleke to invest more in Agriculture and it’s value chain
OSUCCIMA, called upon the leadership of Adeleke, during a courtesy visit to the governor at his country home in Ede, on Tuesday.
The president of OSUCCIMA, Dr Olujide in his speech, discloses that OSUCCIMA serve as the most effective and efficient organ through which the organized private sector business in Osun state influence government programme and policies on a wide range of issues affecting trade, commerce, agriculture, mining and industry.
” We remain a partner with your government, but non-hesitant to provide the right advocacy over policies and/ or actions of the government that may not significantly contribute to the economic growth of the state.
Olujide also emphasized on how Osun is well blessed with natural resources including weather and arable land.
” This is the bedrock of agriculture, Agriculture and it’s value chain should be given a priority in your agenda to industrialize Osun Economy. Your administration needs to encourage investment in Agriculture and it’s value chain.
