The Ademola Adeleke administration has been commended for his commitment to improving the basic level of education in Osun State.
The Governor was lauded for investing in the basic level of education in a way that no government in the history of the State has done.
Chairman, Osun SUBEB, Hon. Ibukun Fadipe stated these while responding to questions on a radio programme tagged: Stewardship, monitored on radio stations across the State.
Speaking further on the programme put together by the Ministry of Information and Public Enlightenment, the Chairman said the Adeleke administration from inception made it clear that it is going to revamp the State education sector, a promise which he gladly noted on the two hour long programme that has been kept.
Hon. Fadipe lamented that the immediate past government in the State failed in its responsibility of paying the counterpart fund the State was supposed to pay in a bid to access grants due to the State.
He explained that the Adeleke administration upon assumption of office has been able to pay the counterpart funds for the years it has owed which has made the State to access the grants due to the State.
Hon. Fadipe explained further that accessing the grants has made the Adeleke government to embark on series of programmes and projects which has helped in improving the standard of education in the State.
The SUBEB Chairman therefore promised the Governor’s commitment to improving the state’s education sector to guarantee a better future for the State.
