Rep. Bamidele Salam Hosts Hundreds of Imams on Arafat Day; Special Prayers Offered for Osun Governor, Nigeria

In observance of Arafat Day, Representative Bamidele Salam welcomed hundreds of Imam Ratibis from Ede North, Ede South, Egbedore, and Ejigbo federal constituency in Osun State, to a special prayer gathering.

Held in a serene and reflective atmosphere, the event brought together Islamic religious leaders who offered heartfelt prayers for the good health, protection, and continued success of Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Nurudeen Adeleke.

In addition to prayers for the governor, the congregation also prayed for the peace, unity, and prosperity of Nigeria.

Special supplications were made for Rep. Salam and his family as well.

Addressing the gathering, Rep. Salam expressed deep appreciation to the religious leaders for their consistent spiritual guidance and support for peaceful coexistence across the state.

“I am grateful to our esteemed Imam Ratibis for their unwavering prayers, spiritual leadership, and steadfast commitment to harmony within our communities,” he said.

Rep. Salam also reaffirmed his dedication to serving the people of his constituency, emphasizing his commitment to development and public welfare.

“As your representative, I remain fully committed to the growth of our constituency, the improvement of infrastructure, and the prioritization of our people’s needs,” he added.
