The Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, attended the opening ceremony of the Africa International Film Festival in the state on Sunday.
He shared photos from the event on his X page on Monday.
Sanwo-Olu partly wrote, “Yesterday, I attended the opening of the African Film Festival (AFRIFF) in Lagos. I’ve always been extremely passionate about the film industry and as Governor of Lagos, I aim to set the bar for supporting the film industry very high.
“I talked about the level of impact of the $100 million Film City project we are embarking on as well as completed training of thousands of young talents in film and the creative process working with key stakeholders in the ecosystem.”
