The Osun State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) has successfully completed its data collection and verification exercise for teachers across the state, marking a significant milestone in the commission’s efforts to enhance accountability, prudence, and digitalization.
This achievement is a testament to the Governor Adeleke-led administration’s commitment to responsible governance and resource management.
In a statement signed by TESCOM Chairman, Tope Mustapha Adeyemi stated that, The exercise, carried out in a peaceful and cooperative atmosphere, demonstrated the dedication and nobility of teaching and non-teaching staff, who are the true pride of Osun state’s civil service.
His words, “I extend my heartfelt appreciation to all teachers and staff for their sacrifices, understanding, and enthusiasm throughout the exercise. Their professionalism and commitment have earned them a place as the vanguard of civil servants in Osun State.
“The exercise received widespread acclaim for saving tens of millions of naira, which would have been spent on external consultants. I express my gratitude to the leaders of ANCOPSS, NUT, and other stakeholders who contributed to the exercise’s success.
“Special recognition goes to the TESCOM family, who demonstrated unwavering dedication and patriotism by participating in the exercise despite the national protest. Their commitment to service is truly commendable.
