Popular business Mogul and the owner of award winning Nigeria local pain relief balm, Alhaja Falilat Oyetunji, who is the Chief Executive Officer Olokemeji Nigeria Limited and the producer of Ero Arike has commissioned an her Shopping Complex and Mosque In Osogbo on Thursday.
During the commissioning of the shopping complex and Mosque around Ilesha garage, Alfa Munirudeen Aloyunkeu was turbaned as the Chief Imam for Abdulraheem Akanmu Iyalayo Central Mosque.
In an interview with SAHEL Standard, Alhaja Falilat Oyetunji said ever since she was born, today is her happiest day on earth.
“I am so happy today, because I am commissioning a Mosque which is a lifetime inheritance to God.
“It is good to build a Mosque for God, please try, everyone that has the money, it has a great reward, may God help us all.
The business mogul, however, disclosed that she name the mosque after her late father.
While speaking on motive behind building of a Mosque inside a shopping complex, Alhaji Hon Akeem Oyetunji popularly known as Oko Ero and the Vice Chairman of Boripe Local Government in his words, emphasized that the shopping complex and mosque was personally built by his wife.
According to him the mosque they commissioned not the first, as it is their usual habit to contribute to the development of Islam and Osun state.
“We’ve built some other mosque in other places, we built for NASFAT, we also built for some community in Iragbiji.
“My wife personally has built a Mosque in Iragbiji town, but when we got to this area, we realized that our Muslim brethren are going to a far away place just because they want to pray, there’s no mosque around here, that’s why my wife decided to build this mosque here.
“My wife, Falilat is someone that’s so merciful to the less privileged, she’s also a renowned business woman, because she’s not only into Ero Arike Cream, she also produces medicinal creams, hair cream, toothpaste, pile concoction. My wife love feeding others while she’s eating, she’s not a selfish person. She’s not a wicked mother.
Alfa Munirudeen Aloyunkeu who was turbaned as the Imam of Abdulraheem Akanmu Iyalayo Central Mosque, while speaking with news men expressed his happiness to God for upgrading him from just a Cleric to Imam of a Mosque.
“I am grateful to Almighty Allah for this great opportunity, because I didn’t expect this great position.
“It’s true that I have been a cleric in the community, but God has chosen me today to be the Imam for Abdulraheem Akanmu Iyalayo Central Mosque.”
Alfa Munirudeen further appreciated Alhaja Falilat for her kindness.
“She is someone who is benevolent, May her children and generation bring good harvest to her,” he prayed.
