Osun West Senator elect,Akogun Lere Oyewumi PhD congratulated Governor of Osun State, Gov. Ademola Adeleke on his victory, after Supreme Court Judgement in Abuja.
In a press statement issued by Akogun media hub, on Tuesday noted that; the Supreme Court ruling is a confirmation both of the perfect will of God and of the irrefutable choice of Osun people.
The statement reads:
“On behalf of Osun West people, I celebrate with His Excellency Senator Nurudeen Ademola Adeleke, the Executive Governor of Osun State, his deputy, Prince Kola Adewusi, the Government and people of Osun State on the confirmation of His Excellency Senator Ademola Adeleke as the Governor of our dear state by the Supreme Court of Nigeria.
“The Supreme Court ruling is a confirmation both of the perfect will of God and of the irrefutable choice of Osun people. It also reinforces the confidence our people have in the judiciary. This is a good development for the advancement of democracy in our nation Nigeria and Africa at large as it goes a long way to pattern true democracy for our country.
“Transparent, accountability, competent and committed leadership is the model people crave for over Governor Adeleke, this victory shows that In the July 16 elections, Osun people overwhelmingly voted for him therefore no amount of opposition can contest that mandate.
It is time for Osun people from all political parties and all ethnic subgroups to rise up and support our God-ordained Governor .
