Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke has charged the newly inaugurated Iyalojas and Babaloja for MDS market on effective service delivery.
The Governor who was represented by the Commissioner for Commerce and Industry, Rev Bunmi Jenyo gave this charge during the installation ceremony of Alhaji Tajudeen Akinbami and Alhaja Monsurat Akeem Karowosaye as the Babaloja and Iyalojas of MDS market, Osogbo.
The Commissioner enjoined them to see their selection as divine intervention from GOD and not by their prowess or wisdom. He further advised them to discharge their duties with all sense of commitment and responsibility.
Rev Jenyo encouraged the Babaloja and Iyaloja to work towards managing the affairs of the market in a way that will ensure progress of the market and enhance a more peaceful co- existence of market men and women and neighboring markets around them.
The Commissioner implored them to make accessible and responsive to people’s yearnings with respect to the market affairs, stressing that it’s only in unity and cooperation that progress can be made.
Rev Jenyo stated further that Governor Ademola Adeleke is ready to partner with them to lift the market to an enviable state which will increase its standard, profitability and bring more benefits to both government and the marketers.
