Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Dr Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu has promised to ensure spread of developmental projects across the state to give all a sense of belonging.
He stated this in his goodwill message to the good people of the state in Government House, Birnin Kebbi on Wednesday.
The governor spoke shortly after returning from Eid-el-Fitr prayer held at the Gesse Phase II Eid Praying Ground in Birnin Kebbi.
Gov. Idris assured the readiness of his administration to continue with infrastructural development across all sectors of the economy for the good of all.
He used the medium to appeal to opposition parties in the state to join hands with his administration to bring positive development to the state.
Gov. Idris, who stressed the need for opposition to come forward and contribute their quota to the development of the state, also said that elections were over, “therefore, there is need for us to work together irrespective of party affiliation to build greater Kebbi State.”
He informed the gathering that three General Hospitals in Arugungu, Yauri and Zuru would be rehabilitated and equipped with modern facilities and operate as referral health facilities to serve the immediate communities.
While congratulating the Muslim Ummah for witnessing yet another Eid-el-Fitr, the governor appealed for prayers and continues support to his administration to succeed.
In his remarks, the Minister of State for Education, Dr Tanko Yusuf-Sununu, urged Nigerians not to relent in prayers for the present administration at all levels to succeed.
Yusuf-Sununu, who performed the Eid prayer with Gov. Nasir Idris, expressed delight with level of achievents recorded so far by the present administration under the able leadership of Kauran Gwandu and urged him to sustain the tempo.
