Rapper Folarin Falana also known as Falz on Wednesday revealed that he had to undergo surgery to repair a major injury on his leg.
Falz, in a video shared on his Instagram, revealed that the surgery, which took place on May 2, 2023, was to repair his torn Anterior Cruciate Ligament, an injury he had sustained while playing football with friends.
The singer took his fans through his journey from the moment he was diagnosed with the injury to the moment he underwent the surgery.
He shared a video of the process with the caption, “Current situation 🤕🤕 It’s a whole journey to being 100% back. Say a prayer for me 🤲🏽”
Taking his fans down memory lane, Falz said “Today is 26 Nov 2022, I am walking with a bit of a limp. About three days ago on 23rd, I went to play football, and sustained a knee injury. It seems pretty serious.”
In another part of the clip, he said, “This is November 30 2022, about a week since I tore my ACL. To be honest, I didn’t know what happened on that day. I just know it felt really painful but the MRI result came back and it shows that it is a complete tear on my ACL.
“I have been advised to go into surgery to fix it.”
He then shared a clip of himself after the surgery, as he walked with crutches.
