Governor Ademola Adeleke Triumphant Visit to Iwo Today!

As expected, after the shocking and reverberating waves of Governor Ademola Adeleke’s visit to Iwo today, I knew the political adversary, usual critics and those we know their political interest but hiding with a smokescreen of neutrality or fake political fence sitters will want to ask the question of If, Why, When, How and practically MAJOR in MINOR instead of focusing on the bigger picture.

But this is it: Is it not fair and appropriate to first talk about what has been done before we start finding defects in other things?

Iwo is an ancient community, a top burner in the political circle of the western region many decades ago. That a Governor will deem it fit to give us a dual carriageway that will bring economic development and give our dear community an urban renewal status deserve commendations first before any other political inuendoes should follow.

If it is that easy to get the commitment of a government for the development of a community among several other ones in a competitive geographical area, what stopped previous government to give us the necessary attention like this before? If it is that simple, why has previous political appointees of past administration couldn’t get giant approval of government for our community like this in the past?

My utmost respect to Mr Semiu Okanlawon, a former Media Aide to Ogbeni Aregbesola who despite political differences with the Governor, he publicly acknowledged the giant strides of Governor Ademola Adeleke for the development witnessed in Iwo today. Those are people who take communal development over partisan interest, unlike others who will still suttered to find faults in anything done by Governor Ademola Adeleke even if he tar the road to their bedroom.

I was beyond shocked today when I saw business men and women, old and young who will be affected by the Road dualisation of Iwo Township still trooping out with enthusiasm, excitement and commendations to usher in Governor Ademola Adeleke into the town and around the community for the official commissioning of two new roads and flag-off of an historic milestone project in the ancient kingdom of Iwo.

Let it be noted that there’s no how a government will want to beautify our dear community with a dual carriageway without finding solutions to the linking roads to the community. Iwo-Osogbo road will be done, and Iwo-Ejigbo road will equally be done as already announced by the Governor. The event of today is a signal to all these details have mentioned.

Today was more than a project commissioning or flag-off, a deep rooted movement was actually effected in Iwo today. It is the IMOLE MOVEMENT!

It is a waste of time for any political wannabe to think he can have an inroad to the community in 2026. It is an enclosed situation unless such a person loves to fritter away his resources.

Iwo people have spoken resoundly today again. They affirmed it is #ImoleTill2030. That’s the gospel. No more, no less.
