Olagboye Stephen Donates Fuel to Over 200 Okada Riders in Honour of Rep. Bamidele Salam’s Birthday

In a remarkable show of support and celebration, Olagboye Stephen on Saturday fueled over 200 commercial motorcycles, commonly known as Okada, in Ara, Egbedore Local Government Area of Osun State to mark the 56th birthday of Representative Bamidele Salam, a member of the House of Representatives.

The gesture, which drew widespread appreciation from beneficiaries, was described by Stephen as a tribute to a leader who “inspires, empowers, and serves humanity with uncommon dedication.”

Representative Bamidele Salam, who currently chairs the House Committee on Public Accounts, represents Ede North, Ede South, Egbedore, and Ejigbo Federal Constituency at the National Assembly.

He celebrated his 56th birthday on October 1, 2025.

Speaking during the occasion, Stephen praised Salam’s legacy of empowering the youth and investing in grassroots development, describing him as a model public servant.

“Rep. Bamidele Salam has consistently invested in the younger generation not just with words, but with impactful actions.

“He believes in building a future where the youth are not just beneficiaries but active participants in nation-building,” Stephen said.

The 200+ Okada riders, who received free fuel as part of the celebration, expressed gratitude and offered prayers for Salam’s continued success and leadership.

This act of generosity is one of several grassroots-oriented initiatives associated with the Salam political drives, known for community engagement and youth empowerment across Ede Federal Constituency and Nigeria.
