The member representing Ayediire-Iwo-Ola Oluwa Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, Hon. Lukman Kayode Mudashiru has joined millions of youths across the world and most especially in Nigeria to celebrate the International Youth Day.
In a statement personally signed by him on Monday, The Vice Chairman, House Committee on Human Rights disclosed that he recognizes the pivotal role that youths play in shaping the future of Nigeria as a passionate advocate for youth empowerment,
He added that he is leaving no stone unturned in his ongoing commitment to providing opportunities for the youth to thrive in various spheres of life.
Hon. Mudashiru emphasized the importance of education, entrepreneurship, and active participation in governance as key pillars for youth development.
He said, “Our young people are the backbone of our nation. It is our responsibility as leaders to create an enabling environment that allows them to reach their full potential. Investing in youth is an investment in the future of our country.”
He went on to acknowledge the challenges faced by the youth, including unemployment and access to quality education, and reaffirmed his commitment to addressing these issues through legislative actions and community-driven initiatives.
Hon. Mudashiru thereafter called on all stakeholders, government agencies, private sector partners, and civil society organizations to collaborate in creating sustainable solutions that will empower the youth and secure a brighter future for all.
