No time to waste, commence house to house campaign for Adeleke, Rep Salam charges constituents

The lawmaker representing Ede North, Ede South, Egbedore, and Ejigbo Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Representative Bamidele Salam, has charged constituents to commence house-to-house campaigns for Governor Ademola Adeleke and intensify sensitisation efforts to educate voters about the Accord Party’s logo and manifesto.

Salam gave this charge as leaders and stakeholders of the Accord Party in Egbedore Local Government Area of Osun State endorsed him for a third term in office ahead of the 2027 elections.

The endorsement was announced during a stakeholders’ meeting of the Accord Party held in Awo on Friday, March 13, 2026.

Speaking at the gathering, Rep. Salam urged party members and supporters to begin immediate grassroots mobilisation in support of Ademola Adeleke, the Governor of Osun State.

Salam also explained what he described as the unprecedented record of service delivered by Governor Adeleke, noting that the administration’s achievements are visible across different parts of the state.

According to the communiqué issued at the end of the meeting, party leaders and stakeholders reviewed Salam’s performance and representation at the National Assembly and expressed satisfaction with his contributions to the development of the constituency.

The meeting commended the lawmaker for what it described as his exemplary representation, dedication to the welfare of constituents, and notable contributions in areas such as infrastructural development, youth empowerment, education support, and community development.

Stakeholders also acknowledged his accessibility and responsiveness to the people, noting that his continuous engagement with constituents has strengthened the relationship between the electorate and their representative at the National Assembly.

After deliberations, the leaders unanimously endorsed Salam’s third-term aspiration and re-election bid to continue representing the people of Ede South, Ede North, Egbedore, Ejigbo Federal Constituency.

They further called on party faithful, community leaders, youth groups, women associations, and the general public across the constituency to remain united and mobilise support to ensure his victory in the forthcoming election.

The stakeholders also reaffirmed their commitment to work collectively and strategically to deliver overwhelming votes for Salam in recognition of what they described as his outstanding service and dedication to the development of the constituency.

The meeting concluded with a unanimous vote of confidence in the lawmaker, with participants expressing the belief that his continued representation would further strengthen development, empowerment, and effective representation for the people of the constituency.

The meeting was attended by leaders and stakeholders of the Accord Party in Egbedore Local Government Area, with attendance from party leaders, executives, councillors, and stakeholders representing all ten wards in the local government area.
