…Oloja Ibala Village Gets Electricity for the First Time
…Eleyoka Community in Irewole LG Receives New Transformer
In a significant step towards improving the quality of life for rural communities, the Osun State Government, under the leadership of Governor Ademola Adeleke, has delivered much-needed electricity infrastructure to two communities. The Ministry of Energy, headed by Hon. Festus Ademola Adeyemo, has been working diligently to ensure that all areas in Osun State benefit from reliable electricity.
The people of Oloja Ibala village in Atakumosa West Local Government Area were overjoyed as they experienced electricity for the first time. This milestone was made possible through the provision of a 33KVA transformer, delivered by the Ministry of Energy. Prior to this, Oloja Ibala had never witnessed the availability of electricity, leaving the community without access to basic amenities powered by electric light. The arrival of the transformer has brought hope and excitement to the residents, who were left speechless at the life-changing development.
The transformation of the village is a testament to the commitment of the Osun State Government to bring progress to even the most remote areas. The people of Oloja Ibala now have access to electricity, which will improve their standard of living, foster local businesses, and support the education of children in the community.
Similarly, the residents of Eleyoka community in Irewole Local Government Area were filled with joy as they received a brand-new transformer, designed to address the persistent power supply issues they have long faced. The transformer will ensure a stable electricity supply, eliminating the epileptic power outages that have hindered the development of the community.
Hon. Festus Ademola Adeyemo, the Commissioner for Energy in Osun State, expressed the commitment of the state government to ensure that no community is left in the dark. “On the Governor’s mandate, every community in Osun must experience stable and reliable electricity. This is just the beginning, and we will continue to work tirelessly to improve infrastructure across the state,” he assured the people.
The actions taken by the Osun State Government reflect a strong commitment to enhancing the lives of citizens across the state, particularly in rural areas. The provision of electricity to communities like Oloja Ibala and Eleyoka is part of a broader effort to foster sustainable development, improve living conditions, and create opportunities for growth and progress.
Governor Ademola Adeleke’s administration continues to prioritize the welfare of the people, ensuring that rural communities receive the attention they deserve. As these villages now bask in the glow of electricity, they join the larger movement toward a brighter, more prosperous future for all of Osun State.
