Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke has re-assured that: his administration will groom the youths of the State through sports activities and development.
The governor mentioned this at the final of the third of the Otunba Isiaka Adetunji Adeleke Memorial Football Competition,on Sunday, held at the Osogbo Township Stadium, at the state capital.
Adeleke, who expressed his excitement with the tournament aimed at celebrating the life of his elder brother and first civilian governor of Osun State, described him as a sports lover.
“As a sports lover, I want to state that we will develop sports in Osun State. We shall rehabilitate our stadium to an international standard.
“Before our hundred days in office, the people of Osun will see the difference. We shall soon be rolling out our programmes and I believe it’s going to be for the benefits of everyone.”
Adeleke appreciated the organisers of the contest, Representatives Bamidele Salam for honouring and celebrating his brother.
