Ailing Nollywood actor, John Okafor a.k.a Mr Ibu‘s health is reportedly in a worrisome state, reaching a point where he is struggling to speak.
This comes just about a month after undergoing a leg amputation in a desperate attempt to save his life.
Mr Ibu has since undergone another surgery involving the removal of a portion of the same leg that was amputated last month.
Concerns are escalating not only due to Mr Ibu’s deteriorating health but also in light of the declining condition of another veteran actor, Amaechi Muonagor.
Amaechi Muonagor has been hospitalized at Nnamdi Azikwe University Teaching Hospital in Nnewi, Anambra State, for over two months.
Dr. Emeka Rollas, the National President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), provided an update on the health of these ailing actors during a telephone conversation with the publication.
“We are resigning to fate concerning the two actors. As I speak with you, Mr Ibu hardly talks again and he has undergone another leg amputation,” he said.
